Welcome to THE MOMENT: Divine Intersectionality — a sacred space where we pause, breathe, and reflect on the beauty of God meeting us in the complexity of who we truly are. I’m your host, Adewole Afolabi, and I’m honored to be on this journey with you. Whether you’re listening or watching from a place of peace or pain, you are welcome here.
Today’s episode is titled: "When God Meets Us Where We Really Are."
There was a time when I believed that God only met me in my best moments—when I had it together, when I felt spiritually clean, when I was "worthy." But real life has taught me something else: Grace often meets us at the crossroads, in the tension between our hopes and our history.
Welcome back to THE MOMENT: Divine Intersectionality. I’m your host, Adewole Afolabi, and I’m so glad you’re here. This space is dedicated to the intersections of our lives—where faith meets complexity, and where God meets us in the fullness of who we are.
Today’s episode is titled "Healing at the Edges".
If you’ve ever felt pushed to the margins—emotionally, socially, or spiritually—you are not alone. And more importantly, you are not forgotten. In fact, God has a history of moving at the edges.
Let me tell you a story in Mark 5. It’s the story of the woman with the issue of blood. She had been bleeding for twelve years—twelve long years of pain, shame, and isolation. She was considered unclean by society and invisible to those around her.
Welcome to another sacred moment here on THE MOMENT: Divine Intersectionality. I’m your host, Adewole Afolabi, and I’m grateful you’ve taken the time to enter this space of reflection, prayer, and prophetic presence.
Today’s episode is called “The Silence Between Prayers.”
We often talk about answered prayers—about the healing, the breakthrough, the miracle. But what about the space between asking and receiving? The silence? The days—or even years—when heaven feels still, and we’re left wondering if God hears us at all? If you’re in that space today, this moment is for you.
